This past weekend, we witnessed something powerful—not just on the podium, but in the spirit and unity of our team.

We had 12 incredible athletes step onto the competition mats and represent our school with heart, discipline, and courage. Their dedication paid off with an outstanding medal count:

🏅 5 Gold
🥈 6 Silver
🥉 8 Bronze

But the real victory? The way our team showed up for one another. From coaches to training partners to family and friends—everyone played a part. The energy, encouragement, and unity were undeniable.

Leading by example, our very own Sensei Rodrigo Antunes continued his championship legacy—capturing his 8th Denver Open title!

Over 3 consecutive years of participation, he has claimed:

🥋 6x Gi Champion
🥋 2x No-Gi Champion
🏆 In both weight and absolute divisions.

His leadership on and off the mats continues to inspire us all.

At Six Blades South Denver, you don’t have to compete to be part of the team.

You don’t need a medal to feel the pride and ownership we all share. Just by showing up, encouraging your teammates, or helping out in any way—you are a vital part of this family.

We are more than a school.

We are one team. One family. Six Blades.

Thank you to everyone who supported, competed, or simply stood by us this weekend. Together, we rise.
