This weekend, our students represented Six Blades South Denver with excellence at the Colorado State Championship 2025 — showcasing not only great skill, but also the discipline, respect, and attitude that define our Jiu-Jitsu family.
Our athletes displayed the essence of our art: solid takedowns, strong guard passing, and submission-oriented Jiu-Jitsu — exactly as it should be. These fundamentals are part of our DNA, blending the best of old-school techniques with the evolution of modern trends.
Mateus delivered a stellar performance, submitting all four matches in under one minute — two chokes from mount and two armbars — earning a well-deserved 1st place.
Adam battled with heart and determination, taking 3rd place and showing the true warrior spirit of our team.
We couldn’t be prouder of both athletes. Your dedication and performances reflect the hard work we put in every day on the mats.
The journey continues — in just two weeks, they’ll be back on the battlefield, ready to test themselves once again.
